Bye-bye Dollar, Hello Amero

I was out the other night with a friend and I told him that Canada was getting a new currency called the Amero. He couldn’t believe it. And you know what? Many throughout North America can’t either because we’ve been told so little about it. I suspect the implementation of the Amero will be much like the implementation of the Euro: all quiet and discreet and then, over night, BANG! Surprise everyone! Guess what? You have a new currency and you have to use it.

When will we here in the West receive our new currency? I’ve heard sometime in 2009.

And not only will we be getting a new currency, we’ll also be part of the North American Union (Canada, US and Mexico).

Regardless, the above news of the merging of Canada, the US and Mexico into a “union” and the merging of the currencies is of no surprise to me. In fact, I was expecting it and have been for the past year or so.

Globalization and a common currency was foretold Biblically almost 2000 years ago. Interestingly, this globalization and common currency are two of the signs that Christ is about to come back. The groundwork is being laid.

Consider this:

The NAU will have a common currency.

The USA passed a bill called the Real ID Act, which is basically a stream-lined system of identification that will be mandatory for all US citizens. Without a Real ID card, they won’t be able to have a job, open a bank account or do much of anything without it.

Other countries in the world already have a “Real ID System” of some sort.

The way I see it, if it bodes well for the US, Canada will follow suit (I mean, why carry around a ton of ID cards if you can just have one, right? There would be other reasons, of course, but in our stream-lined culture, carrying just one card would be a major marketing strategy to get people to accept it).

I always wondered, since you can’t, fundamentally, get a job (make money) or have a bank account (use money) without a Real ID card, if the Real ID is the first step to creating the foretold Mark of the Beast?

After all, Revelation 13: 16-18 (NKJV) says:

“16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

It’s most certainly possible especially since we’re rocketing toward a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)-centered culture where already everything is getting chipped for tracking. Actually, on that note, did you know folks are already using RFID to pay for items? There are beach clubs where you can get chipped and, just by swiping your hand past a reader, pay for your drinks without having to use paper money/debit or credit card.

The point is, folks, things are falling into place just like the Bible said they would right before Jesus physically returns to Earth.

And it’s happening more quickly (just like Jesus said they would, too, as He described the frequency of the signs like birth pangs—they start off slow but, as birth draws nearer, happen closer and closer together).

We have seen more signs come to fruition over the past few years than we have since Israel became a nation again 1948. Jesus promised in Matthew 24 that the generation that saw Israel (always a fig tree in Scripture) reborn would see all the End Times prophecies fulfilled. Friends, the arrival of the Amero on the scene is just further proof the Bible doesn’t lie.

Are you ready? The Messiah is coming.

And the generation is almost over.
